The project submission form will be available online soon.
Each complete entry into the CIC will consist of the following:
A Project Title
Make the title of your project clear and applicable. This is not to be confused with your Team Name (which is optional).
A Team/Project Logo
This is the first visual of your project. It is a good practice to think about the brand and market of your product from its inception. Make it meaningful.
Please make your logo available in a downloadable format. It should also be in a high-resolution (preferably minimum 1024x1024).
The video you produce is the first introduction of your project to the judges and the most critical. These videos should be more about telling the story rather than a rundown of the technology. This is where you demonstrate your work in action. Make sure you allot plenty of time and thought in the creation of your video. Here are some guidelines and advice that applies to the videos you produce. Guidelines for the video are available HERE.
Please make your video available in your downloadable format. You can use any of the video hosting sites to host your video and provide an URL as well.
The CIC Finalists Showcase Event is where you demonstrate the hard work and efforts you took on your projects to turn them into cool innovative solutions. This poster is a means to showcase your project appropriately in front of sponsors and the many industry guests. Guidelines for the poster are available HERE.
Its is HIGHLY recommended that you create a product website and upload the video and details about your team on that page. This website could be a single page with the required details - think Kickstarter or other such entries for a product website. Be clear about what your project is at the top of the page. Include any relevant information on technical specs etc. Check out other projects that were successful in past CIC editions and use the video ideas that you like. Put some thought into your presentation. Your website is and should be a resume item.Make sure people understand what it is you are building Have friends review your project description and website and make edits for clarity. You'll be very close to your project, so you need some impartial eyes to help you determine if you're skipping important concepts or belaboring unimportant ones. And of course, make sure to include full details of your team - each member and their contact information
The submission portal is LIVE. As mentioned above you will have the option to provide an URL to each required component.
NOTE: You are not required to submit your app or service as part of your submission. You will bring a demo of your project (has to be a working prototype) to the Finalists showcase on November 16th.
